Last week, the TruBlue team travelled to London to attend the BKU Awards 2026 at the prestigious Grand Connaught Rooms.

As one of the highlights of the KBB industry calendar, the awards bring together retailers, suppliers, manufacturers and service providers from across the sector to celebrate excellence, innovation and achievement.

We were incredibly proud to attend as finalists in two categories:

🏆 Salesperson of the Year – Trish Toms

Being recognised as finalists is a fantastic achievement and reflects the dedication, expertise and customer focus that our team brings to the KBB industry every day.

The event itself was superbly organised, with a fantastic atmosphere throughout. It provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of businesses and individuals from across the industry while catching up with customers, suppliers, partners and friends.

The entertainment was outstanding, with the opera singing waiters providing a brilliant surprise that had the room thoroughly entertained. Combined with excellent food, great company and an excellent performance from host Mark Durden-Smith, the event delivered a memorable experience for everyone in attendance.

One of the highlights for the TruBlue team was the opportunity to reconnect with so many familiar faces and meet new contacts from across the industry. The conversations, insights and shared experiences are always one of the most valuable aspects of these events and reinforce the strong sense of community that exists within the KBB sector.

From independent retailers and growing manufacturers to established industry leaders, the event showcased the talent and commitment that continue to drive the sector forward.
