Combining Manufacturing & Retail Expertise
Colourhill Interiors offers a complete kitchen solution ranging from cabinetry and doors through to appliances, worktops and fully fitted kitchens.
Supported by an in-house manufacturing facility, the business maintains complete control over kitchen carcass production, allowing the team to manufacture bespoke sizes, colours and specifications tailored to each individual project.
"Because we make the kitchens to order, we've got complete control over that side of it. The quality is extremely high and we can make them specific sizes and colours to suit whichever job."
That flexibility allows Colourhill Interiors to deliver highly tailored kitchen projects while maintaining quality and consistency across both retail and trade operations.
Helping Customers Navigate Modern Kitchen Design
Aidy explained that while manufacturing flexibility is important, great kitchen design remains the real foundation of the customer experience.
With the modern KBB industry now offering an enormous range of products, finishes and appliance options, helping customers make informed decisions has become more important than ever.
"The kitchen industry's changed a lot over the last 20 years and there's just so many products. The design side is where we can really help customers make those choices and show them what works best."
By combining practical experience with thoughtful design planning, Colourhill Interiors helps customers create kitchens that work both visually and functionally.
Future Plans Focused On Automation & Trade Growth
Looking ahead, Colourhill Interiors is continuing to grow its trade offering with plans to develop a more connected online catalogue and ordering experience.
The aim is to create a more streamlined workflow between customer ordering, product catalogues and factory production systems, helping reduce errors while improving efficiency across the business.
As more manufacturers and retailers move towards connected systems and automation, integrated workflows are becoming increasingly important throughout the KBB sector.
One Of TruBlue’s Earliest Customers
Colourhill Interiors has been using TruBlue since the platform first launched, making the company one of TruBlue’s earliest customers.
Before moving to TruBlue, Aidy explained that the business had gradually accumulated multiple disconnected systems as the company expanded.
"As the company grew, there was one system here, another there and different systems. It started getting very expensive and difficult to monitor the workflow properly."
Like many growing KBB businesses, Colourhill needed a connected platform capable of bringing quoting, workflow management and operational visibility together in one place.
Fast Catalogue Updates & Responsive Support
One of the biggest differences Aidy highlighted was the responsiveness of the TruBlue catalogue and support teams.
In an industry where pricing, products and imagery constantly change, maintaining fast and accurate catalogue updates is essential for smooth operations and accurate quoting.
"With previous systems, catalogue updates could take months. With TruBlue, I've sent things over in the evening and they've been done by the morning."
Aidy also praised the adaptability of the platform and the willingness of the TruBlue team to provide solutions and workflow improvements whenever needed.
Scheduling & Workflow Management
Internally, Colourhill Interiors relies heavily on TruBlue’s scheduling functionality to help manage production deadlines, showroom orders and trade workflows.
Orders from both retail and trade customers are scheduled directly into factory workflows, helping maintain visibility and organisation across the manufacturing process.
For businesses handling multiple moving parts simultaneously, connected scheduling tools can make a major difference to efficiency and communication.
"Why Wouldn’t You Give It A Go?"
When asked whether he would recommend TruBlue, Aidy’s answer was immediate.
"100%. I already recommend it to trade customers because it makes ordering so much simpler. I'm not a salesman for TruBlue, but when you show people what it does for the price, why wouldn't you give it a go?"
We’d like to thank Aidy and the entire Colourhill Interiors team for taking the time to speak with us and for their continued support as part of the growing TruBlue community.
